Employment Opportunity – Director of Clinical Education for EMS Program

National Park College, Hot Springs Arkansas is seeking a Director of Clinical Education for the Emergency Medical Sciences Program.

Duties:

The successful candidate will be responsible for classroom, clinical and laboratory instruction in the EMT Program, as well as student advising and college committee work.  Clinical instruction involves on and off campus activities. The position requires teamwork and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The Director of Clinical Education is responsible for coordinating clinical assignments for student rotations as well as documentation associated with clinical rotations in the EMSP programs (EMT, Paramedic).

This 9 month position reports to the Emergency Medical Sciences Program Chair and includes a generous benefit package. Start date will be August 19, 2019.

Qualifications:

Education Requirements

Applicant must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Medical Services / Paramedic; an associate degree considered.  A master’s degree in emergency medical services, fire science, or related field is preferred.  Other job related experience may substitute for some educational requirements.

Qualified applicant should possess a National Registered Paramedic, state license and emergency medical provider instructor certification. Preference will be given to candidates with recent teaching experience.
