Martin Henry “Marty” Stumbaugh, age 38, of Cabot, passed away October 8, 2012 in Birmingham, Alabama. He was born November 28, 1973 in Searcy to the late Arnold and Barbara Stumbaugh, Sr. He is also preceded in death by one sister Netta Bevill. Marty graduated from Cabot High School in 1993, he was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, member of the Republican party, former Justice of the Peace for district 13 in Lonoke County, former Constable in York Town Ship for two terms, member of Kiwanis, President Cabot Jaycees, President of Cabot Professional Fire Fighters Association local # 4544, He was a Fire Fighter/EMT for the city of Cabot since February 10 1992, also a member of the Sherwood Fire Department, was a graduate of Arkansas Fire Academy, Fire Company Officer, Fire Arson Inspector, Confined Space Rescuer, Hazardous Materials Operator, Auto Extrication, and member of the Fire Service Leadership.
Marty is survived by his wife Mindy Stumbaugh; son Mason Cole Stumbaugh; and daughter Macy Paige Stumbaugh, all of the home. Two sisters: Karla Pipkin (Don) of Cabot, Robbin Waller (Micky) of Cabot; three brothers: Corky Stumbaugh (Sharon) of Sheridan, Stubby Stumbaugh of Cabot and Stewart Stumbaugh (Tammy) of Yellville; along with many nieces, nephews and other family members and dear friends.
